Supervision and Consultation

I provide consultation and supervision to a wide range of people and organisations - the common thread being emotionally damaged, traumatised children and young people.

My work includes school teams, helping them to understand how and why certain children behave the ways they do. This can lead on to developing techniques and interventions to support those children.

I have substantial experience in supporting and providing consultation and supervision to Foster Parents - often helping them maintain and develop fragile placements.

In my consultation and supervision work with residential childcare workers, I support the development of professional, therapeutic insight and practice, while helping the carers understand and deal with the emotional demands when looking after needy, traumatised (and often angry, sad, or scared) children and young people.

I can provide supervision, consultation and support to teams, individuals, larger or smaller groups, parents, teachers, social workers, early years workers, prison officers etc.

I qualified in 2011 with a Certificate in Supervision from the Centre for Supervision and Team Development in Bath, having undertaken modules in core, therapeutic, team and advanced supervision.
